Head towards the most southern point of the Island and in just a few minutes you will find St Catherine’s Lighthouse surrounded by breathtaking views & National Trust land. Along the way stop for refreshments at the Buddle Inn or continue onto Castlehaven beach.

A short walk in the other direction will bring you into Niton village with its local shops, Post Office & Tea Gardens and White Lion pub. With a network of numerous footpaths & bridleways you can walk from our property along the coastal path to the Victorian seaside town of Ventnor and Blackgang, famous for its family pleasure park. Alternatively, head inland to walk up to Stenbury or St Catherine’s Down with panoramic views.

Further along the Undercliff in this remarkable microclimate lies Ventnor Botanic Gardens. From here you can follow the coastal path down to the traditional fishing cove of Steephill

Take the coast road westwards towards The Needles and discover beach after beach, fabulous views & downland.
Travel inland to discover small villages with idyllic thatched cottages, such as Godshill and Brighstone
